May Morning Greetings and activities

The Powderkegs border morris were up on Alderley Edge, Cheshire, to see the sun rise on this fine May morning - we had a good turn out, including several spectators and a ten-foot-tall dragon!

Meanwhile Chapel-en-le-Frith MM were up on Eccles Pike in Derbyshire, and Boggarts Breakfast were up on Higger Tor.

So the coming season was well and truly greeted in this neck of the woods - who else was up 'long before the day-o'?

Sent a verse of the Pottersbury May song to my boyfriend by text

And tonight? Morris at the pub :-)

Peace

Well there may be some of the Jack in the Green ceremony at Bluebill Hill in Rochester Kent this morning. But probably not posted until the Rochester Sweeps are over and all are recovered from the dancing and drinking.
