The SUNRAY Folk Club is 2 years old. Lots going on and as a one off special, Bob is singing only Ralph McTell songs. They are what inspired him.

Come and enjoy.

Will you be singing my favourite, Red and Gold? It's the only McTell song that I sing.

I have always been surprised "Another Rain" wasn't more widely known.

But to be fair ANYTHING from the Easy album is a hit!

And to be fair, providing enough floor singers turn up, I probably won't have too many to sing.

28th May... Derek will be there, but I'll have to send my apologies. Hope to do better for the 3rd birthday next year!

"The Mermaid and the Seagull" is one I've always loved!

Well I have to agree, some of the older ones do not get enough airplay these days.

May include Maginot Waltz.

...and I have a chance to practice at my house party tomorrow night. Fun and food and lots of singing.

Seems like there won't be too much room for Ralph McTell. Loads of floor singers (see my other thread on how I value these guys).

But the night will be fun.

AND there is a quiz. And I may make the quiz available on-line afterwards.
