I've come across one book (see below) and want to know if there are any others available and/or which you might suggest...

THE IRISH MANDOLIN by Padraig Carroll

Thanks for any input,

Mick,

I left that part out....that's where I came across the one title...I am looking specifically for Irish style.

I don't know if this is the same book you have because I don't recall the title, but recently in the music store I saw a copy of a Mel Bay Publication for Irish Mandolin. You may want to check a Mel Bay catalogue at a music store, or there may be a Mel Bay site on the web. BTW I used to think Mel Bay stuff was about as hokey as you could get. Looking at some of their recent publications I think they may be to acoustic/folk oriented music what Oak Publications was back in the 60's, 70's.
