Prolly! Both terribly funny and sad. Not to mention that they don't have summer jobs anymore. Song Challenge anyone?

SO.... that's where the minerals come from. Does that mean it's OK (or even desirable) to pee in hot springs?!?!?

If you want to walk out on that crust and take the chance of falling through in to the hot mud below just so you can brag about weeing in Old Faceful...well, your judgment leaves something to be desired.

Adolescent males.....invincible. Pee on anything they will.

(and Susan, the answer is NO....not if you want a summer job or to visit the Park in the near future)

And NOBODY better not pee in MY hot tub either! Banned for LIFE!

Is that how Yellowstone got its name?

Hehehehee... good one CC.

Indeed, Sorcha... except for one thing... "Adolescent"... men never grow up. Well, seldom. Some succumb. The rest of us try not to do so.

It's funnier, to imagine, if you see the park employees as women. Squatting. And in for a big surprise if they don't get the timing right. IRL that would be a tragedy, but in a cartoon it would be hilarious.

Peeing in a geyser... big deal. Ya wanna really impress me? Try peeing on another Yellowstone icon... a Grizzly Bear.

Perhaps they were just indulging in the animal instinct of "marking their territory" ?

Rapaire is right, above. This behavior is too dangerous to joke about. Instead, use it as a chance to pass on a friendly warning.

"Just this June, a six-year-old Utah boy suffered serious burns after he slipped on a wet boardwalk in the Old Faithful area. The boy fell into hot water that had erupted from nearby West Triplet Geyser. He survived, but 20 park visitors have died, the most recent six years ago, scalded by boiling Yellowstone waters as hot as 250 degrees Fahrenheit."
