Does anyone here know the song which begins sounding for all the world like a serious song of Welsh pride and in particular pride in the Leek, the Welsh national emblem, but which, in the last line, throws off its Trojan Horse disguise and reveals itself as a comedy song, the last line being the above quoted "I'll have a leek with you my dear if you'll have a leek with me"

Never heard it - but it'd not surprise me if it was one of Peter Buckley-Hill's.

Thread title changed - but I'll change it back if you really meant if to be I'll have a leak with you my dear.

I don't really mind one way or the other - I suppose "leak" rather gives the joke away too soon doesn't it?

Cheers.
