BS: Caravan plumbing - non return

Right, JB has a knackered non-return valve, and I assume he is on "snap-on" piping (the blue plastic stuff, 11mm O/D I think) and I have a non-return valve that despite replacement does not work - same piping.

But I have an old-fashioned 10mm non-return valve that works just fine.

Does anyone know where I can get a joint to enable me (and john likewise if he can re-establish piping connections) to put such a non-return valve into modern piping, or get an inline non-return valve to fit the modern piping?

Not 'snap on' I'm afraid. My Carver Cascade 2 has blue pipes for the cold water inlet, which as you know is buggg**ed, and red pipes for the subsequent hot water (or not in my case) outlet, both of which are gently attached by the usual 'jubilee clips'.

Yes, it's the blue pipe needs the extra non-return valve - once you have got the inlet sorted. You were trying to get the inlet out to do the non-return valve, as I recall...

The blue pipes have the snap on fittings. You just seem to have rediscovered the wrong way to snap them off!
