For those in Australia.

Is Al using Norcsalordie in the right way or context?

I thought I remembered a previous thread about this word, supposedly an australian word, which I'd never seen/heard.

I can't find the thread - all I can find using a mudcat site search is zillions of references (well, 175 references!) to a UK duo with this name.

Thanks Sandra.

Al did base it on that duo, but presumably thought it was of Australian origin.

Perhaps Rafflesbear can point us to the thread debating whether "Norcsalordie" was an offensive Australian expression, directing the listener to observe a woman's breasts.

Austalian English is a very expressive language! Or maybe it was, nowadays many folks just use 4-letter words - boring!

Once upon a time we had anonymous & known wordsmiths who enriched the language. aussie slang

In recent times these wordsmiths have included Barry Humphries in his incarnations Barry Mackenzie & Dame Edna Everage.
