I broke a few traditions myself when I met and married Nessie without it having been an arranged marriage. Only a few years earlier, my sister followed the tradition - to her later regret. Anyway, I somehow think that "Jonny & Mrs Dyer" just doesn't have the same ring as an act name...:-) |

"I thought I'd drop in and mention the album launch of Vicki Swan & Jonny Dyer next Thursday (11th June, 8pm) at the High Barn in Great Bardfield in Essex. It's a fantastic renovated barn venue, but that's not the best bit.... "Vicki & Jonny have done a lot of making big bands with other people, this is a rare occasion to see the Vicki & Jonny Big band... Mark Southgate on bass, Pete Flood on percussion and Roy Jones on bodhran. This is the line up on the album, so it should be a good night! "Entry is free if you bring an instrument and play in the little session after the gig." Hope so!
