Well, blues-floks...

Seein' as I came in 2nd in last years Sadalia Blues Society's (formerly the James River Blues Society) Blues Challenge I have been invited back with all the entrance requiements waived...

For those not familiar with this festival, it is on July 11th at the Sadalia Center in Bedford, Va. and quite a nice festival which draws blues players and fans from all over the mid-Atlantic region...

So, if ya'll can make it then come on down ('er up, 'er over) and hear some fine blues... Camping at the site is available as is alcohol so this is one fine venue for blues lovers...

BTW, I will be performing with "the Pedestrains" (my band) as Sidewalk Bob and the Pedsetrians...

Come on down, ya hear???

They intermarried with the Rastafarians, and that's how we got our Bobzdrt.

(I quite like the alt band names he typed; think I might like a t-shirt or two.

"Pedestrains" reads as PED-ess-trains and "Pedsetrians" reads as Ped-SET-rians.... like an odd sort of set list for people who pedestrate.)

Well, this ain't about me 'er the Ped-es-trains but one fine festival and, not to worry, I'll do just fine by ya'll... Ya see, this year I have the secret weapon... The Lowebow!!! The Lowebow is a cross between a geetar and a Diddybow but with four strings (one abss and 3 treble) and three 'lectrict pickups, two output jacks, gigar box body and two dowel rods fir a neck I can blow the house down with it...

Ya'll Google "lowebow" and see fir yerselves what a weapon I'm takin' with me...

Not to mention the "Back Porch" geetar that Ted Crocker made fir me... Google that one, too...

Throw in the band, me playin' drums on some spongs with my feet and we gonna do Mudville proud...

And thankee, BillD... I been working real hard the last few years so I oughtta be gettin' it tighter...

BTW, ya'll... This is one coolass festival... 1.5 hours from Richmond, 4 hours from DC, 2 hours from C-ville, 5 hours from Charlotte, NC and a mere, ahhhh, 70 hours from Ebbie and KT in Alaska...

So ya' all put it on yer calendars... Borrow yer next door neighbors pop-up camper and come see and hear some of the finest blues that will be played on the east coast this ummer... Period... No joke, an' all that... Hey, Jimmy Thackery played it last year... This is the real deal here, ya hear???
