I urge you to please support the cause of Ginger The Chicken. (Chicken C) who has been wrongfully arrested for murder of a vicious and thoroughly nasty fox. You can follow the case by reading various Kent based threads on the Lyrics and Knowledge section above.

Please sign up to this just and worthy cause.

All chickens are innocent. I'm going to write a book about 'The Naked Chicken' being an overview of battery hens. I tried to charge one up with some jump leads mind you, and I reckon that's where Colonel Sanders got his idea from.

I only use the finest chickens with my Original Recipe. Any fowl sullied by sensationalist news will not find a resting place in one of my family buckets.

I suggest the Ginger chick and her Sooty apply elsewhere. They'll not find gainful employment here.

Nonsense. Any animal that gets laid before it is born cannot be trusted to behave as a respectable member of society. And then there are all those goings on with Rufus Thomas. And the Sweet Rhode Island Red. And Foghorn Leghorn. These are not good character witnesses.

Coroner report

Raynard the Fox
Date of death 15 Jun 09
Time of death between 10:38 AM and 1:41PM

The patient was a 5 year old Red British male fox with no significant past medical history. Initial examinations revealed the eyes were glassy, pupils fixed. There was neither heartbeat, nor pulse. The body was somewhat soft rigor mortis not yet set in prior to autopsy.

Further investigation, probing the wound discovered corpse was stuffed with polyfibre fill, leading to the conclusion that this must have been a ritual killing. Analysis of the fur shows that it consited of polymeric fibers. Evidently the body was skinned of its natural pelt and the faux fur replacement sewn on to it.   Fur quite matted with red sticky substance aound wound. Analysis revealed it to be tomato ketchup, an Old Macdonald's Happy Meal carton was found near the body. A LifeLikeFriends tag was sewn into the faux pelt confirming the the killer had serious sociopathic tendancies.

The BBC is not sponsoring this event. They pay Jonathan Ross too much to afford it.

But they have given leave for We Are NOT ITV, Ltd. to pay for and arrange this little affair.

But it is a cunning trap. The plan is to knock off as many annoying, ranting, swearing, flirting, stuttering, word slurring gits in a I'm a Celebrity Chef Get Me Another Time Slot cum River Cottage cum Bushcraft, cum Bird Flu Culling documentary showdown as possible.

The accommodation will be self provided in the fields near Upper Stoke. Ray Mears is offering guidance in tent putting uppery.

Kingsnorth power station is at Kingsnorth, which is not on the Isle of Grain.

Grain power station is at Grain, near Port Victoria, both of which are on the isle of Grain.

None of Upper Stoke, Middle Stoke, or Lower Stoke are on the Isle of Grain.

The AllHallows holiday camp is not on the Isle of Grain. It is the other side of the Yantlet, on what used to he AllHallows Marsh.

The Isle of Grain is the bit of the Hoo peninsula that used to be separated from the rest of the peninsula by Yantlet Creek/Yantlet Fleet.

I wish to know if our very own Hoffmeister will be representing Ginger at any subsequent trial???

I still go in the side of direct action myself, and have successfuly managed to smuggle a copy of the SAS Survival Handbook into Ginger's cell with the help of two, cunningly disguised Alpacas who were posing as representatives from the Civil Service. I have been reliably informed that Ginger has been activly practising some of the techniques in anticipation of any trial and has stated "I will run free again Chook".

Go for it Ginge!

Stop Press!!!

Last night, ........... activists scaled the chimney at the Kingsnorth Power Station ........... and painted the following slogan in luridly bright colours - "We demand that Ginger the chicken, wrongly accused of the murder of Rey" - ............ the slogan finished at that point as the protesters were distracted by an emergency supply drop of ............ Scout Burgers from the local Aylesford Festival in support of the group, which had been planned to be parachuted in at midnight, the ............. proposed end of the direct action. However, due to the pilot of ........... the microlight which was employed in the delivery, having a ............ genuine Rolex watch bought for a tenner down strood market, ..........the delivery was half an hour early. The group were later said ........... to be stuffed but contented and that they would do it all again!!!

Police now believe that several members of the activists and their immediate associates have connections with several local Morris Dancing Sides and several well known characters of the Folk World.

Further enquiries are now taking place and further arrests are expected!

I'd just like to say that it was an honour and a privilage to be included in the Ginger Chicken Food Drop at the Kingsnorth Power Station last night. I'm sure that my, now gone, coleagues would feel total pride at a job well done. I, however was denied my hour of glory, as I was grabbed by a passing Seagul that had strayed over into our territory. I was taken approximately a mile down river, at which point I was dropped, due to my exessive size and weight. I was then discovered by the side of a parked car by a pair of vegitarian Badgers who happened to be passing!!! They have been so kind and helpful during the day and have been very interested by the plight of Ginger are are keen to help in any way.

I have not read this thread. I may sometime when I have some time to kill, but I just want to say, it has already been very entertaining: every time I go to Messages Since Last Visit I see the very creative and funny pseudonyms of various guests and LOL at the images they bring to mind! Carry on and thanks for the chuckles...or should that be clucks?

TOMORROW, WHEN YOU TAKE YOUR SUPERMARKET CHICKENS OUT OF THE FRIDGE TO COOK YOUR LUNCHES, THEY WILL ALL START SCREAMING AT ONCE.

WE DEMAND TENPERCENT OF THE CHICKS OF THE WORLD. OTHERWISE WE WILL DESTROY YOUR RACE, UTTERLY.

When we, the lantern-jawed, steely eyed master race, rule the world we will send the black, brown, and half-breed ginger hens back to their curry-eating Guineafowl relatives in India, so that purity will be restored to this land, and the peasants will dance Cotswold for us their masters, without degenerate African rhythms.

And there will be no more big black cocks.

Shame, I fancy having a nice big black cock myself,me being a game bird. Cotswold dancing pheasants, what more hanky waving woffters!!Nothing like strapping wood to your feet and having a good bang on a dead goat to get the rythem going, keep it up for hours meself the ranting. But now not only is Ginge charged wrongfully there's Dead Horse keeping a Puffin hostage and torturing him. If you see any Dead Horses please, please hit them hard in the bells while shouting Free the Puffin loudly in protest.A good hunting ground should be Whitstable this weekend This cannot go on Birds of the world unite!! .

Watch out Whitstable. I am told that there are forty Dead Horses. I have challenged them to learn a certain song that features several dead creatures.... the chicken is only an allusion however. Sadly, we cannot be there as Little Un wants to record his Young Folk Award entry.

Bloody BNP (British Nasty Pullets) seem to infiltrate every thread, don't they? Here you can see Chickens of many colours enjoying a stroll and a peck around.

I'm sure the British Nasty Pullet would approve - NO white hens there you see, so obviously an apartheid policy is in force, and the white hens have the better pasture the other side of the tracks.

Quite so, Richard. Questions should be asked in the (Chicken) House.

We wish to make this statement. there is no apartheid policy here. The white chickens have clearly free ranged beyond the view of the camera.

Why weren't the black and brown ones able to?

That is a very good question. There is of course a pecking order, and they were possibly ordered to peck there. We did locate the white chickens who seem to have congregated here.

escaped white chickens?

I note that the above is evidently a wrongful attempt to impersonate the real Col. Sanders, who posted very early on in this thread. As with 419 scams, the grammar gives them away!

I recommend the immediate commencement of litigation.
