18 Jun 09 - 06:51 AM (#2659255) Subject: Nathan Rogers at York (UK) 18 June From: MoorleyMan Anyone in the vicinity of York tonight is strongly recommended to go see the incredibly talented Canadian singer/songwriter/guitarist Nathan Rogers (son of the late great Stan). This is a rare appearance for Nathan in the north of England - it's at the (BBC Radio 2 Award-Winning) Black Swan Folk Club. Starts 8.15-8.30 pm, so get there in good time to be sure of a seat as it's bound to be busy. See the club's website (www.blackswanfolkclub.org.uk) for further info including a review of Nathan's cd True Stories. And see the Nathan Rogers At Herga thread for glowing accounts of his gigs further south earlier this month. Don't miss this one! MM |
