Shame this clashes with Redbourn Folk Club.

The Watford club is doing well on Fridays.

then you can all come and support Janet Strapping lass especially on singers nights

thats Redbourn Folk club at the Hollybush , herts U K for those not in the know

Thursdays

Small and perfectly formed , capacity 40 +

I have to say she has a great guest list, Whalley and Fletcher are a must see, very funny too, droll, wet and dry humour, trussed or otherwise.

then later Jez Lowe, must sit to his right

beer a bit pricey

Much cheaper at herga, a lot cheaper 75p to be precise

monday nights

Pinner Green Social Club Harrrow near Northwood Hills Tube

singers nights most nights

Another good club is in Watford on fridays at the Pumphouse,
local Board road

this week, Friday features resident Martin who is a player to be aware of, good songs well delivered, better than the Post Office!

singers are encouraged,
last week attendance was 30+

The club scene is doing O K in my neck of the woods

Made it for the early half of the session ! Apart from paying 25p more for a pint than I pay for the same beer at The Tap , it was a VERY pleasant afternoon , with some intersting songs from Ross and Boatie Cris and a few good tnes too (Ta Martin)! AND Sandwiches and chips provided by the Pub !

Made a new friend, not sure if he was more excited to see Breeize, or when he was allowed a whloe pint of yummy ale. And I am not talking about Ross either. Cheers Ross and Cathy plus friend I can't remember his name, boatie two, and of course Good Old Terry. Cheers see you all soon. TTFN

Well done Martin , you had it all under control.

How did Leadfingers find St Albans?

That was Ian with Christine his mum, he is now off the coke and he does enjoy his beer, and 'The Village Pump' - with actions ! On Tuesday he flew out to Spain for an 'oliday which is why he didnt come to Barton last night. I think I know where you might have been , and I dont have any unicorns to hand out today.
