I always heard he was kind of a jerk, but the compassion he showed in caring for her these last several months has shown him in a different light. Cynics might say he was playing to the cameras, but I think he genuinely cared for her and behaved admirably. I might be wrong but I sincerely hope I'm not. |

I see a beauty in her there that for me eclipses what she later became. It's a much more natural beauty, not yet calculated by some money-making industry. It made me feel sad for how the innocence of youth gets lost in people...not that I know if this is accurate in regards to Farrah Fawcett herself or not...it just struck me as a kind of timeless archetype that could well apply to any of us. I'm not myself deeply moved by the passing of either MJ or Farrah, but I do wish them both well. |
