26 Jun 09 - 11:21 AM (#2665275) Subject: RE: BS: cricket club at Sidders From: Rasener >>any tips or sage advice would be most welcome<< Remove the back legs before placing the crickets in the frying pan, having brought the oil up to the right temperature. mix the SAGE with raw onion and then chop finely. Add this to the crickets in the frying pan and stir for a couple of minutes. Drain fat from frying pan and then tip the contents of the pan onto a plate with kitchen roll on. get a bread roll and butter it then add the cooked crickets onto the bread roll. Eat and enjoy. 26 Jun 09 - 01:50 PM (#2665349) Subject: RE: BS: cricket club at Sidders From: Rapparee Don't drop your jacks so hard and they won't sink. But the ball WILL bounce off a wooden pad better than dirt. |

27 Jun 09 - 10:54 PM (#2666251) Subject: RE: BS: cricket club at Sidders From: Rapparee A club for rugbies...sort of like canaries, I fancy, or budgies. Little cages full of exotic rugbies singing their little hearts out, folks swapping them around for mating purposes, little old ladies sipping tea and discussing some of the great rugbies of the past. |

28 Jun 09 - 05:57 PM (#2666697) Subject: RE: BS: cricket club at Sidders From: John J You could try the golf club temporary camp site at the top of the hill (past the observatory). It cost us £7 - £8 a night for car, caravan and two adults last year. Although it's a bit far to walk, there's a festival bus that runs until WELL past midnight. It's certainly my site of preference and I hope to be there again this year. John |
