Hello everyone.   Just a note to let you know that Fiona McConnell and I will be playing a couple of numbers tonight on the monthly Disability Radio Programme on 7 Waves Radio in the Wirral. The show starts at 7pm and broadcasts locally on 92.1 FM. However, you can also pick it up on the Internet through the 7 Waves Radio Website:

Hope you get the chance to hear it. Should be good tonight. I've changed me strings.

Hope you can listen. If you don't I'll have to sing next time. No-one wants that.

Hi Everyone.

It's the second Wednesday of the month and tonight (July 11th) is the night for the 7waves Community Radio monthly Disability Issues programme, 'Wirral Tonight', presented by Glynn Thomas.

As usual, there will be live Irish Traditional Music on the show and tonight promises to be a little bit special: Patricia Lacey, one of the finest Irish traditional singers in the North-West, will be joining me for the first time this evening.

Patricia is well-known in traditional circles and has been involved in promoting Irish traditional culture in schools around Liverpool for several years, including running workshops through the Liverpool Irish Festival.

The show starts at 7pm (UK Time) and broadcasts locally on 92.1 FM. However, you can also pick it up on the Internet through the 7 Waves Radio Website:

Music aside, it's an excellent show which provides an invaluable service in providing people with disabilities with a voice of their own.

Hope you enjoy it.
