Looks like a great line up, and I'm delighted to see that it's possible to camp on site. So who will be there?

I'm having eye surgery (cataracts) and I don't know if I'll be up to the trip. If I am, Susan and I will be there (if it doesn't rain too hard).

Amusingly, we're spending that weekend driving from DC up to Montreal for the World Science Fiction Convention. If we hadn't already committed ourselves to visiting the Baseball Hall of Fame, I'd consider doing a folk festival on the way up.

Oh my!! I'd forgotten about World Con in Montreal. If you need attic space (it's civilized) on the non cooperstown end of the trip, just pm me. Someday I'll get to the hall of fame. Have to pay a visit to all of my beloved Red Sox, you know.

Tomorrow's the day. Since there may be thunderstorms, I may well hang out with Mom, who lives down the road, and come in and set up my tent on Saturday. Are you going to make it Dick? Anyone else?

Sorry I started another thread on this. I did look to see it there had been one started but not close enough than all of a sudden this one came in again. Maybe a clone could close mine.
Thanks.

Adrien- I went several years ago and had a great time. I'm sure you will, too. Relax and let the music carry you.

Thanks maeve.
Relax and a little networking. It's in my blood I guess.

"networking..." Why am I not surprised?

I found people to be most friendly. Enjoy!

If it's raining there like it is here (50 miles due south of the venue) be prepared for another mud bath and to be towed out of the parking lot.

Tomorrow is predicted to be pretty nice, though.

Peter.

The weather forecast says thunderstorms today and Sunday and a nice day tomorrow. Kingsland Bay is a superb place to be when the weather's nice but I won't go anymore if there are any predictions of rain. I've seen too many floods and too much mud there. I think Champlain Valley FF was much better off on the beautiful university campus in Burlington.

Hard to beat sitting on the lawn, looking out at the lake and hearing great folk.

They are parking vehicles at the Vergennes high school and transporting folks by bus (every 20 minutes 3:30 til Midnight today, 8:00 til midnight tomorrow, 8 or 9 until it's all over 7:30 or so on Sunday. Actually sounds as if things will be clear in the Champlain Valley by 4 or so today, through at least noon Sunday.   I'm psyched.
