16 Jul 09 - 02:13 PM (#2681605) Subject: BS: Shane sighting! From: Little Hawk Thanks to Ron Davies for providing the following article on another thread: AP: Police say a homeowner in Maine used beer to entice an intoxicated intruder to leave. The intruder didn't realize that it was a nonalcoholic beer. Bar Harbor police say the homeowner awoke early Monday to find 22-year-old Scott Cote-- (I first typed Sott)--in the bedroom and used the beer to convince him to move on. Police say they found the suspect breaking into cars a short time later and arrested him after he fled into some woods. It seems that Shane was recently released from the Barrie jail where he had been incarcerated after an embarrassing incident at Orillia's Mariposa Folk Festival. Upon release in Barrie, he departed for parts unknown. He hasn't been seen back in Blind River since then. I'm betting that he got down to Maine somehow, and that this Scott Cote character was actually Shane McBride using an alias. Anyone want to take bets? |

The Nova Scotia government has agreed to give him six dozen cans of Keith's and a one way ticket to Blind River if he will promise not to return. The Cat |

Hopefully, he'll choose a lite beer on accounta, once ya settle down, yer middle starts to settle too. Once he does that, the local fluff will be on him like hornets on a dead pike. |
