02 Aug 09 - 09:54 PM (#2692541) Subject: Brighton Acoustic Session From: GUEST,Stuart Reed The next Brighton Acoustic Session features the Rude Mechanicals: Ray Chandler, Barry Ruffell and Jeremy Sherman. These three musicians are outstanding in their own right, with years of composition and performance behind them. Ray has twice been guest on Andy Kershaw's Late Junction programme on Radio 3 and, like Barry (formerly of Uncle John's Band) is a multi instrumentalist. Jeremy has been playing in bands and composing for over 30 years and has written music for all the major TV channels. http://www.brightonacoustic.com |

04 Aug 09 - 12:35 PM (#2693569) Subject: RE: Brighton Acoustic Session From: GUEST,Stuart Reed It was indeed a good night. I hadn't seen Jeremy Sherman as part of the line up before and his rock solid guitar playing allowed Barry & Ray much more freedom to bounce off each other. Heartily recommended to all club organisers. |
