BS: Interesting things we can wager on

Lotteries are boring. What if we bet on:

The date of the first newscast that DOESN'T mention Michael Jackson

The date that we decide "What is folk music"?

The date that peace breaks out in the Middle East.

The day when there is no longer a "reality" show on TV anymore.

or even

When will Republicans and Democrats start getting along?

I'm sure there are other interesting things we can wager on. What are they?

The first one on your list will probably actually occur one of these days, though none too soon. Any one of the others is kinda like betting on the day the last star will burn out. : ).

The day that Rush Limbaugh apologizes for having been a negative influence in American life and retires immediately? (That would be
something of a miracle)

Do you think any of us will live to see any of those things happen?

With the exception of Michael Jackson, are those not all things, which are more likely to happen in the next life...

Don't gamble......it is addictive and destructive.
It can be more destructive than drugs.....Take that advice from someone who knows the world of the gambler very well indeed...Ake
