04 Aug 09 - 03:31 PM (#2693720) Subject: Obit: Pat Bowley, Auckland, NZ From: Little Robyn At the weekend we received this message from the Bowley family: It is with great sadness that I have to report that Pat Bowley, lifelong folkie and founding member of Florabunda and Devonport folk club, passed away in the presence of friends and family at North Shore hospital at 3-50pm today (Friday 31st) at the age of 64. A further message arrived last night: Good Evening All, As promised here are the details for Pat's funeral. Service to be held at 1 pm at the Maclaurin chapel Auckland University 18 Princes St. Refreshments to follow at the Old Government House A final location for the Wake has not yet been finalised, but feel free to turn up with an instrument and/or song once it has been. Thank you to all those who have sent the wonderful messages and rememberances of Pat over the past few days. It has meant a lot to us all Clare, Dominic, Nick, Irene and the grandchildren |
