This site is terrific. And it has listed some great resources for developing your ABC skills. BUT - I wonder; is there a similar site that focuses on Folk tunes? I'm especially interested in early American folk tunes in ABC, fiddle tunes, banjo tunes, old songs ... Does anyone know? I've looked but had no luck. |

Probably your best bet is to fire off a query at a few search engines for something you know will be on any site rrelated to your interests - say, for old-time fiddle, "Blackberry Blossom". Then look round the sites that the search engines list as having that tune and see which ones have the stuff you want presented in the way you want. I have some American tunes on my site that you won't find elsewhere, but that's not one of my main interests. |
