09 Aug 09 - 06:07 PM (#2696572) Subject: Baroque Pop (&Folk) Harp concert in NYC From: InOBU Two nights of harp in NYC at Theatre 80 at Saint Marks Place(between 1st and 2nd Ave-that is InOBU's place for those in the know) August 13- Adam & Mia (vocals and harp) play Old English Folk Songs, arrangments of Purcel and originals followed by the Gospel sounds of Our Lady J. Show at 8pm, $15 and lots of fun August 27th Alternate Harps in NYC with Brandee Younger, Mia Theodoratus and Riza Helquiez. Mia will be playing original music written for Celtic folk harp and improvising. The other 2 harpist are more towards jazz. |
