I would love to have been there. The album CROSS OVER THE RIVER and the song COME BACK KATY were each nominated in the Traditional Folk category (for song and for album). That's out of 42,000 albums and 560,000 songs. I am honored just to be nominated. |

Nice track, good album in a very closely fought category. I just hope that none of the more argumentative 'Catters reads JPF's definition of traditional folk! Blood would flow for sure. Actually it was the term "Roots" that threw me- I was expecting a spot of Reggae- It's actually "Appalachian and Mountain music". Ah well. (I'd have preferred the Reggae.) I was going to let it roll over to MP3 sales only, but I'll see what happens over the new few weeks. I had planned to repackage my previous CW music and then start work on a new project. I'll decide by Sept. MP3 sales can go on forever, at any rate. |
