10 Aug 09 - 05:00 PM (#2697207) Subject: Obit: Tony Sheehan - RIP - 1947 - 2009 From: Teribus Have just heard that Tony Sheehan passed away on 2nd August 2009 near Oslo. Tony was very active in the "folk" scene in Norway where I met him many years ago. An absolute gent possessing a wicked sense of humour and possibly one of the best singing voices I have ever heard. I always hoped that I'd get the chance to hear him again at one Festival or another. Rest in Peace Tony, you'll be sadly missed. |
