12 Aug 09 - 01:20 PM (#2698664) Subject: Cirencester area - any sessions/clubs? From: G-Force We're staying in Cirencester all next week and it would be lovely to join in a music session or visit a club. We'd be grateful if someone could let us know what goes on in the area and we're quite happy to travel a reasonable distance. I have Googled 'whats on in the folk world' but the info on these sites is not always up-to-date and anyway, you can't beat a bit of local knowledge. Thanks very much. |

Thursday evening at the Crown in the market area - there's a car park round the back of the church, up a road to the right of the pub. Friendly welcome to newcomers. There is a website on folk in Gloucestershire - Mr Red is involved, so you could try that. Penny |
