He's as fine a guy and harp player as you'll find. His old band was the Sons of the Blues (SOBs). And yeah, he does tons of arts in education stuff. Guy, look for the Chicago RReader (reversed R, there) -- alternative paper, has music listed by genre, venue, and date. You probably wanta stay Northside Lakefront; except that the Checkerboard Lounge (southside) used to be a big tourist Blues spot. --MA |
