The Friday evening program was rather folk oriented with the rockers taking over on Saturday and Sunday.

XM Satellite Radio just replayed it - not sure if Incredible String Band actually performed that night.

Hey - just found out that Woodstock didn't actually happen in Woodstock - But in Bethel - that is nearly a 100 miles from Woodstock and the southern side of the Catskills!!!

A really nice column on Woodstock by Gail Collins. It includes the classic advice from a 108-year old WW I veteran on how to live a long life: "When you start to die, don't."

That is one for the books, eh?

Worth remembering.

I just remember being awe-struck when the college semester started just a week or so later by the few who had actually been there.

"Can I touch your Woodstock T-shirt?"
