Review: Bideford Fest

This wasn't planned as a general review thread for the fest... but obviously can be turned into such if people want to, it was meant as:-

Just a quick note to publicly say that I was incredibly impressed with how we were looked after by the Bideford Festival team this weekend.

We have by no means been dissapointed at other UK festivals this year but the level of contact/information and general welcoming attitude we recieved at Bideford far surpassed any other. Artist liason were superb!

Thoroughly enjoyed the fest. And highly recommend to musicans and concert goers alike!

Thanks guys!

I totally agree. It was our first time, and we were well looked after.

Special thanks to Hilary, Gerry, and also Pam & Sadie who were our main points of contact, and to all the others who worked so hard to make it look effortless.

Congrats all round.

Went for a day, and enjoyed it tremendously. Nothing seems to happen between 3 and 7.00 though, would have liked a session after an excellent afternoon concert with Gu4 and Spindrift

Maybe we could persuade Hilary & Jerry into arranging a MudGather at teatime one day at the next fest? I'd be happy to sort one, especially if we're allowed chocolate......

I've not been to Bideford Festival, but I've always heard good reports about it and it looks very well organised with a good lineup!

Bloatertown are excellent, aren't they? And they're local! Been going for donkey's years, and I'm sure could have gone much farther afield if they'd wanted to, but seem happy to keep it local.

Wish Bideford didn't clash with Broadstairs...

Did any one get any pictures of Blodwyn & Siadwell Pugh doing the "traditional dance from Llanellell" in the End of the Pier Show?

They tell me they would like a copy (they're funny like that!).
