I'm the latest Folkie to be chosen to stand on the plinth in Trafalgar Square. We seem to have had folk dancers and concertina players from here and in the same vein, I want to use my slot to get people singing (and maybe dancing - depends on the weather). I'm lucky enough to have a fantastic time slot, 8-9pm on Saturday 26th September. If you're on Facebook, there's more information here http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=114596264406 Please, please come along, invite everyone you know and get the square singing some proper hearty songs! |

I think it'll be a lot of fun and I would love to get as many people there as possible. I know a lot of people will have gigs or bookings but for those who don't and want to have a bit of fun, it'd be great to meet you. :) |
