BS: Cryptic Text, Gaelic, Help!

I've an acquaintance who's prone to a prosaic, esoteric mode of communicating.

I just had a text from him in what I think is either Gaelic, Gallic, or some related celtic tongue.

It's ' Feasgar Dihaoine'

Can anyone help with translation, please ?

Amos,

Thanks, but I'm still none the wiser what he's hinting at.

Any more suggestions, anyone?

Mr. Happy, ain't it a bit much to expect us folks (at a distance, no less) to derive context from such limited text?

You asked for a translation. I have no idea what your correspondent might be hinting at without the context. What do you want?

Google loves Mudcat. I tried a search on the phrase and this thread came in at number 7.

It certainly looks pretty unambiguously like Friday afternoon or evening to me.

Thanks for all help so far.

I think the guy's gone potty & is speaking texting in tongues!

Turns out the guy'd been running a sesh each Wednesday [same night as ours] but not getting anyone attending, so he's switched it to Friday night.

Once again, thanks for all assistance

He'd probably get more responses if he cultivated the neglected art of speaking in complete sentences.

It is Friday Afternoon. Dihaoine is Ancient Gaelic for Friday, and
feasgar is Scots Gaelic's word for afternoon.
