07 Sep 09 - 06:20 PM (#2718387) Subject: RE: Scotland is waking From: Jim McLean I used the tune 'Morning has broken' made famouse by Cat Stephens but I knew it as a child in Scotland as 'Child in a Manger' or in Gaelic as 'Leanabh an Aigh' (the blessed child). it was written by a Mary MacDonald, I believe from Bunessan in Mull, where my grandfather came from. |

Unfortunately some theiving English scumbag stole it and several dozen other cassettes from my car when they stole it in Manchester in 1977. I would dearly love to be able to replace it but have never seen a copy of it since. |
