In 2007 she represented Scotland, as part of the "Three Countries of Folk" tour -and stole the show. So much show that,when she returned in 2008,that show was a sell-out. She is a scintillating musician with a sparkling stage presence - definitely in the same league as the likes of Kathryn Tickell. So, when we discovered she has an equally talented sister, Bethany, who plays fiddle and piano and that they have friend, Gemma Wilson, who is also a brilliant fiddle player, and that the three of them work with master guitarist, Andrew Tulloch, what else could we do but book them? In 1995 Filska released an album entitled Harvest Home and its success brought them to festivals and concerts around the world. The Band's most recent release Thousand Miles Away is a collection of music that showcases the musical development and maturity within the band - a fresh and dynamic approach to Shetland traditional music that gives Filska their unique and innovative sound.
