If, like me , you will try anything once, then catch this young lady if she passes your way. Her repertoire takes in quite a lot of Bob Dylan, some Leonard Cohen and Kristofferson, Joanie Mitchell,Nina Simone, but then a little Cole Porter on the side. I saw her at the Cinnamon Club in Bowdon, Cheshire on Friday evening, her singing is fantastic, her patter LOL funny and her accompanist, given the excellent piano in the lounge at the club, was outstanding. She also provided a second voice on a few numbers. S loved her too, and she doesn't always appreciate my musical tastes. Great evening! Brian Q (Flash Company) |

Niel books acts to suit either, but has to trim his cloth a little in the present climate, hence Barb and accompanist rather than Barb and band. I am yelling 'Come back soon. but she is in the States at the end of this month and then on tour in Norway. FC |
