I can tell from the comments that this person is a member of the session and quite likely a member of this forum. there must be a fortune out ther for the person who can invent atracking device. |

Get that, find which system the IP address is from, and that system will have logs that identify exactly which user did it. This requires cooperation from two separate operators, neither of which will usually release such information unless requested by the police or a court order. That is, the issue has to be serious enough to involve criminal investigation or (successful) civil procedure. No ISP or forum host will help trace mere "unpleasant comments". You should be able to work out who the person is from their writing style, but obviously that doesn't prove anything. |

I find it very sad that this person has nothing better to do ,and clearly feels so vindictive and spiteful towards me,to engage in this crap. |

It tempts some people to do or say things they would never try in person. There are personalities which become pretty nasty given 'presumed' anonymity. How to deal with them is not easy to decide.... If they have actually broken laws, someone 'may' be able to help, but just imagine how much work it would be to track down and 'prove' every offensive & petty bit of behavior. |

That way you have it for yourself. I run my own servers so I have my own tracking but if your blog has a database or file you probably can imbed the code to track each access via Ip into a table or a file log |
