It doesn't seem to be any of the usual 'on board a man o' war' songs. "Does anyone know a song with the chorus 'As they leave the shore, you can hear them rant and roar... lah lah lah lah we sailed away, on board of a man of war boys, on board of a man of war' or similar?" From: Jim Dixon On Graham Moore's web site, he says ON BOARD A MAN OF WAR is from a musical he wrote called "England Expects." He doesn't say whether it's been recorded. There's only one CD advertised on his web site and it doesn't include this song. |
