Information about this song is hard to come by, but I have learned that ANOTHER MORNING appears on the following albums:

John Conolly, "The Northern Trawl"

Donkey's Breakfast (of which John Conolly is a member), "The Farmer and the Fisherman"

John Conolly & Bill Meek, "By Humber's Brown Water"

I wasn't able to find any lyrics,

Thanks Jim
I have the Northern Trawl CD but at present where I am I have no recording facilities so was hoping that someone could have provided the lyrics.

Well now I don't often get requests for Bill Meek stuff, so here goes
The chord layout will probably suffer But I'm sure you can work it out

        Another Morning-         Bill Meek

D                 Em                         G         A         D
Six of the clock and a new day dawning
        G                D                A
I'd lie in my warm white bed alone.
                G                         D                 G        D
Hear the swish of the tyres of the cycling men
                                                                A                Em         A7         D
And the rattle of the milk on the door-side stone - On another morning.

D                        Em                G                        A         D
Frost on the pane and the street-lamps yellow
G                        D                A
Door slams loud in the winter air
G                        D                G                D
Listen to the click of the clog-irons come
                                                        A                Em         A7         D
Down the long street and across the square - On another morning

D                Em                G                A         D
Turn of the key and I know he's with me
G                        D                A
Back from the night that I could not know.
                G                D                G                D
From the steaming breath and the shouting men
                                                                A                Em         A7        D
And the arc-lights bright on the trampled snow - On another morning

                D                Em        G                        A         D
And the fire leaps high with a laugh and a roaring
        G                        D                                        A
The tea's hot and strong and the bones soon thaw,
                G                D        G                D
And I'd creep down the stair to the warm belonging--
                                        A        Em         A7         D
The joy of the old man home once more - On another morning

D                Em        G        A         D
Lie in your bed, hear the new day rising
        G                D                A
But know in your heart that it's not the same
                G                D        G                D
As your dreams drift on to the old dead days
                                                                A7        Em         A7         D
And remember the times when the clog-irons came - On another morning
