Male or female vocalist or band? There are literally hundreds of lyrics in the DigitalTradition database which contain the word heaven; when I tried to narrow it down I didn't come up with anything. Probably one of the regulars here will see this, come on and know it straight off and there you'll go, all set. I have to admit I'm stumped. Putting the words into the Digital Tradition search engine came up with nothing. The International Lyrics Server (click) has reopened with some really nasty restrictions, and it shows 44 songs that have the words "if I ever get to heaven it will be because of you" (not necessarily in that order, I guess). -Joe Offer, defeated, but not quite ready to give up- |

The song has the lyrics of "At last my love has come along", "My lonely days are over", "And life is like a song". My fiance' and I would like to dance to this song at our wedding. We think that it is a R&B tune or Motown song from the 60's, female singer. Any ideas or directions would help. Thanks |
