09 Oct 09 - 04:29 PM (#2742338) Subject: RE: Pete Waddon (Twitchett) on the Radio From: Waddon Pete Thanks Dan (Olddude), Wayland Radio is trying hard to provide a great service to its local community. They would love it if you could listen in via the web. That they want to put on folk is a great credit to their good taste! There are many other good people on as well! Best wishes, Peter |

12 Oct 09 - 09:04 AM (#2744065) Subject: RE: Waddon Pete on the Radio - Sunday 11 October From: Waddon Pete I'm glad you enjoyed it TS. It was a good set from everyone yesterday. There was Dave & Linda from the Milkmaid Folk Club in Bury, Peter Booth and a great four piece group called The Jim Jims. I've never seen so many wires all in one place, and no-one tripped over them! (And to think they call it wireless!) As I said before, I think it is great that a community radio station wants to highlight live folk music. If there is one near you, I hope they do the same! Best wishes, Peter |

So, the show starts at 1 PM on the US east coast, and 10 AM here in California. Good luck, Pete! -Joe- |
05 Dec 09 - 08:29 PM (#2781729) Subject: RE: Waddon Pete on the Radio - Sunday 6 December From: katlaughing I am looking forward to this. Joe, I'm not sure about your numbers. I am seven hours back from Micca in London, two hours from Mudcat time, so it ought to come on here at noon. Are you two hours from here? |

07 Dec 09 - 07:59 AM (#2782796) Subject: RE: Waddon Pete on the Radio - Sunday 6 December From: Waddon Pete I surely will, Kat. As I've said before, these local stations are the life blood of radio and very keen to support local interests. Wayland Radio is very supportive of the local 'folk' scene and all power to their elbow for that! Tom Moore, the fiddler who was also on is very good. A name to watch out for! I think he will go far in the music world. Best wishes, Peter |
