All UK Starbucks will offer a free muffin, on the 12th of October.
Should be fun to watch!

Our Safeway store has a Starbucks franchise which offers several interesting pastries along with the coffees and chocolate; it makes shopping a pleasure.

Well they are sending email vouchers to loyalty card holders for free muffins.

So not the free for all you hoped for John.

A free muffin!

wow .... goes good with a $3.50 CAD coffee.

think I'll bypass that free muffin and just go to Tim Horton's for my medium size coffee with 4 milks, 1 sugar. all for $1.29 CAD.

Oh, wow! Just what I need: spend a buck for the gas to drive to a coffee shop owned by a giant, non-local corporation to get 500+ empty calories that I don't really need - free!

Think I'll brew myself some gourmet coffee (thanks to Trader Joe's) at home for about 50 cents and have that with a MoJo or Luna Bar (for another buck).   *g*

Ahhhh, unless ya know the story of Jesus On The Wall Up Ta Tims... in Sydney, Cape Breton, Canada... an image of Jesus appeared in the Brickwork of the wall of the Tims. A CBC comedy show did a skit about it and it was "Jesus up ta Tim's" or some such, by the show "This Hour Has 22 Minutes".
