Are any of you involved with a local 'Museum on Main Street'? |

It was here for about a month and had all kinds local singers and musicians. We had everything from Ballads to Gopsel sings. It was really well done. I understand there are several of these exhibits going around the country so watch for one in your area. Your tax dollars at work. Thank you Smithsonian! Dave |

I only have information on the Journey displays, but it looks like Smithsonian has done a really good job of setting these things up and arranging them so the hosts can offer an event worth doing. Journey Stories hits Missouri next summer. It's my understanding that there's one of each exhibit and that it is scheduled to ship from host to host. Thanks, Dave. I'm glad to hear from someone who has actually seen one of the exhibits. Did Forsyth do much work-up before the display opened or run other things in conjunction? |
