I have a VERY strong memory of listening to this on a tape back when my parents were still alive and I listened to music in the kitchen most evenings. It was a male soloist. I know Christine Parsons has recorded it, but it wasn't her. I also know it wasn;t the late John MacLeod of MacLeod; I've never had that album in my possession. Whatever tape it was on, I seem to remember it being the last track. I can't remember which title it was, though it may also have been under its English title, Rory Mor's Lament (unlikely, as it was sung in Gaidhlig). Any help would be appreciated! thanx. |
