It contains a transcription of Nic Jones' Canadee-i-o which I am desperate to get hold of. As you say, Matt, it seems pretty close to Nic's Penguin eggs accompaniment. As a banjo frailer myself, I don't often hear a guitar piece that makes me think "Maybe I WOULD like to play guitar". Nic's playing was one of the few that make me think it might be worth the effort, to progress beyond the basic guitar I have picked up by accident over the years. Quack! GtD> |

The Sam Carter youtube videos are great, but it's proving hard to grasp where all his fingers are! they're great for getting the right hand plucking / picking / tapping techniques though and realy good to see someone finally sounding close to the original recording. |
