12 Oct 09 - 12:40 PM (#2744217) Subject: Mudcat usage survey! From: MegW Hi everyone! Thanks to those of you who have contacted me in regards to my thesis, I really appreciate it. It's slow going but I'll get back to all of you, I promise! In the meantime, I'm hoping to come up with some basic demographic information about the way people use and view Mudcat and the Digital Tradition Folksong Database. The survey is here. Unfortunately that website limits basic accounts to 100 responses, but it's better than nothing. Special thanks to Cloud_Street, by the way, for introducing me to that site way back when he did his own survey! |

It's just limited to the first 100 responses because of the structure of SurveyMonkey.com, the site I used to host the questionnaire. I had thought Mudcat-centered topics were supposed to be posted as regular threads, I'm sorry if I misunderstood and it was supposed to be in BS. |

I'd like to share with you that it appeared to me that most of the survey questions presupposed that all Mudcat members are musicians. Probably most Mudcat members are musicians, but not every member of this forum isn't a musician. That said, best wishes on your thesis! Azizi |
