Outstanding event and that is not just because my boys (Sir Harry's Sword) took the junior title again the quality of the dancing was at a premium (I am a Longsword anorak). Hosted by Handsworth ably supported by Grenoside, just to get a picture of these two teams together was icing enough. Sterling dancing by Sallyport, Kingsmen and what can be said about Redcar, once again undefeated. It made the 200mile round trip on the day seem just a jolly jaunt. Congratulations to all at the sword dance union and all involved with the admin. Grenoside next year in celebration of 100 years since Sharp collected from that team. I can't wait.

I think you're right , I'm convinced that there are perceptible changes already with a distinctly brisk tempo becoming the norm.
