I think this probably counts as a bit of a coup, and the timing of it is serendipitous to say the least. He wrote it in reponse to the BNP's use of the Second World War Spitfire as the logo of its recent European election campaign - dubbed the "Battle for Britain". The song is taken from his upcoming "Handmade Life" album and tour, where Chris is joined by Andy Gangadeen (the Bays) , Barney Morse Brown (Eliza Carthy) and Robert Jarvis (London Improv Orchestra) in a brilliant new quartet line up.
