22 Jul 99 - 10:26 AM (#98006) Subject: Just taking a break From: Alice Since it is impractical for me to contact all of the many Mudcatters I know off forum, this message is just to let you know that I have not left Mudcat (since some have asked). I am taking a break from daily participation because I am very busy with work. The tone of the 'cat is very emotionally charged right now, which is not the first time this has happened, but it is a bit draining. I really need to focus on work and rehearsal. I have appreciated both the music and non-music discussions on this forum, and yes, I don't respond much to the ones that get 'mean'.
I've enjoyed the digressions into group mystery writing, the support during the Columbine aftermath, but mostly the information and sharing of music, history, instruments, and experiences in general of others who also love traditional music. later...... alice |
