27 Oct 09 - 11:30 AM (#2753654) Subject: RE: BS: Winter Comes To Colorado From: katlaughing Those Eastern slopers know nothing of the extreme western edge of Colorado. Sure there will be snow in the high country and all around us, but we really do live in the Banana Belt over here: Rain and snow showers this evening transitioning to snow showers overnight. Low 34F. Winds NW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precip 70%. Rain / Snow Showers Rain / Snow Showers High 39° F Precip: 70% Occasional snow showers mixing with rain in the afternoon. Cold. Temps nearly steady in the mid to upper 30s. Winds WNW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precip 70%. A slushy accumulation of less than one inch. As you can see, we'll hardly get anything, BUT it will be enough that the transplants from California and elsewhere will drive like idjits, no offence to our CA members, and everyone will be overexcited for a day or two. Morgan and I will have some fun, though.:-) Alice is right, too. My sisters in Casper have already had several snowstorms. Better they than I...I really do not miss the snow.:-) |
