That person could be a relative, friend, work colleague or neighbour. Whoever they are, they have a secret that could reveal what happened to Madeleine. In order to reach that person, CEOP are asking for the public?s help to share this message virally, via the internet, so that the message is so widespread it becomes one click away to the person who knows something about Madeleine?s disappearance. The message is then a constant reminder that it is never too late to do the right thing, to stop keeping this secret and pass this vital information to their local police. At least if a child dies one can mourn and attempt to come to terms with the reality one knows. In the case of a missing person, one is always seeking the truth. The unknown is so much more difficult to come to terms with. Jack, you may or may not have a good point .... Please let's not fight on this thread, but take it in the good spirit intended by Trevor. If you care so much about the Tamil children then start a thread about that situation, and if there is a campaign you wish to highlight then do so. If it matters that much then why haven't you already started such a thread or promoted such a campaign? Your post exists solely on one level and that is to attack trevor for posting something he thinks is important. At least he is prepared to initiate debate on the subject that interests him. And if, by the way, his posts has been responsible for you mentioning Tamil children, which you otherwse had no intention of doing, then he has in fact been successful in drawing attention to the plight of missing children so the premise of your meanness is fallacy anyway. |

If I had, my reply would have been along the lines of the above - that my post has given you the opportunity to bring our attention to another outrage, if we didn't know already know about it (which I did, incidentally). |
