From: Art Thieme I gather from some things I've seen on the Internet that a group known as ick Cave and the Bad Seeds might have done one of the three songs I ever wrote?! The song's title is "That's The Ticket" --- a parody of old traditional broken token songs. Anybody have any insights on this? Art Thieme |

From that site it isn't clear that I ever was one o' those. Maybe they mean a "tone ring" --- My Vega Tubaphone had one of those! But a Tubaphone is not a Cell-Phone I don't think. Other banjos had tone-rings too----but not ring-tomes. Still, that Tubaphone was the best sounding banjo I ever owned. The White Lady had a different tone-ring -- sort of a scalloped affair. And as far as I know the White Lady never got pregnant----so that tone ring acted as sort of an IUD of some kind. Whatever it takes. Art Thieme |
