Hi, I run the Glasgow University Folk Club,

If anyone is interested in joining, whether you're a Glasgow university student, a past student, or just love folk music and live in the area, then feel free to come along.

This week we're at the Lismore Pub on Dumbarton road in Glasgow's West End.

Hope to see you there.

Kosmo

Hi Guys,

Some of you might be interested in the following.................

Calling all folkie students

Is your university lacking in that most basic necessity, a Folk Society? Then perhaps the answer is you. The Inter-Varsity Folk Dance Festival (run by students, for students) want to hear from anyone interested in founding a folk society at their university. We may be able to provide a small grant to help with start up costs and we've a wealth of experience to help you out. For more information on the festival go to http://www.facebook.com/l/28cc1;www.ivfdf.org/Main_Page and check us out.

If you're even vaguely interested we'd love to hear from you. Send me a message to: development@ivfdf.org (mark it 'IVFDF Interested' so it gets through the spam filter)

Looking forward to hearing from you

James - IVFDF Development Officer (2007-present)
- Secretary Exeter University Folk Society (2005-2007)

I'm up in Glasgow from time to time visiting my son, and if you keep me posted as to when you're functioning I'll try to make my visit coincide with your club. I've sung at The Star a couple of times and I'd love to come and sing you some songs.
